Bobbled Cable
This is a simple eccentric cable with a purled bobble worked into the broader portion. It is a basic demonstration only; bobbles may be placed like this on any kind of cable, and in any quantity, according to the taste of the kniiler.

Row 1 (Wrong side) and all other wrong-side rows—K2, p7, k2. Row 2—For a right-twist cable, work Row 2 as follows: P2, si 3 to dpn and hold in back, k4, then k3 from dpn; p2.
For a left-twist cable, work Row 2 as follows: P2, si 4 to dpn and hold in front. k3, then k4 from dpn; p2. Row 4—P2, k7, p2. Rows 6, 10, and 12—Repeat Row 4. Row 8—Repeat Row 2.
Row 14—P2, k3. Make Bobble in center si as follows: (kl, yo, kl, yo, kl) in same st, making 5 sts from one; turn and k5, turn and p5, lurn and ssk, kl, k2 tog. turn and p3 tog, completing bobble; k3, p2. Row 16—Repeat Row 4.
