Pyramidal Lace Check
Here is a pretty, easy-to-work pattern with triangular lace motifs in which the decreases run alternately left and right. Any line-yarn blouse or sweater pattern calling for stockinette stitch can be beautifully varied by this lace, which would turn it into a "creation" instead of just another piece of knitiing.
