I rarely knit anything for myself as I don't have thetime, but I did do some baby pull-ups for my first grandson just before Christmas.

For Simply Knitting I design around 6-12 of these a year,

I use plastic stacking boxes with wheels in an effort totryand be tidy and organised. However, being a designer means there is always yarn all over the floor!

Everything moves out into the fields for spring. We're not suggestlngyou do... unless you fancy knitting yourself a tent! No, bring the fields to you just in time for Easter with homewares adorned with chickens and rabbits. You'll find plenty of egg cups and cosies (see page 53 if you fancy knitting a bunny cosy for yourself), but don't stop there. Nowadays you can geteverythingfrom cake tins to butter dishes with an Easter theme.

Don't forget to knit or crochet yourself a few decorations. We've a set of pretty crocheted eggs on page 53, and, of course, Alan Dart's Easter Parade (page 38) would look wonderful along a window sill.
